الشارقة - الرأي - يشارك في مهرجان الشارقة للشعر 16 شاعراً من 13 دولة عربية وشعراء محليين.وينطلق المهرجان غدا في دورته الثالثة عشرة في قصر الثقافة بالشارقة.اختارت المهرجان تكريم الشاعر محمد علي شمس الدين بصفته شاعراً عربياً «مجلياً وذا حضور فاعل وما نظم من شعر بليغ وما قدم للمكتبة الشعرية من إرث ثقافي وشعري».
اما على مستوى الامارات فاختير الشاعر عبدالله الهدية ليكرم ايضاً. ويتسلم الشاعران درع التكريم من حاكم الشارقة سلطان القاسمي في احتفال خاص.يشار إلى أن المهرجان يشتمل على جلستين نقديتين تتناولان قضية ضرورة الشعر في العصر الراهن، وسيشهد المهرجان خمس أمسيات شعرية تليها جلسات حوارية مع الشعراء والضيوف.
