زوريخ - أ ف ب - اكد الامير علي بن الحسين رئيس الاتحاد الاردني لكرة القدم انه لن ينسحب قبل اقل من 24 ساعة على انتخابات رئاسة الاتحاد الدولي (فيفا) في زيوريخ.
وقال سموه للصحافيين اليوم الخميس "انا لن انسحب ابدا من الانتخابات".
وردا على عدد الاصوات التي يتوقع الحصول عليها قال :"لن اعطي اي توقعات الان ولكنني متفائل جدا في انتخابات الغد".
وعن المرشح الذي سيدعمه الاردن في الجولة الثانية من التصويت قال "انشاء الله اكون انا في الجولة الثانية".
واضاف "لقد حان الوقت لكي يأتي رئيس من قارتنا الاسيوية يكون مثلا للجميع ومستقبلا لكرة القدم العالمية".
ويتنافس الامير علي في انتخابات رئاسة الفيفا الجمعة مع السويسري جاني إنفانتينو والبحريني الشيخ سلمان بن ابراهيم والفرنسي جيروم شامباني والجنوب افريقي طوكيو سيكسويل.
